Uses of m-hydroxybenzaldehyde
3-Hydroxybenzaldehyde is a precursor to many phenolic compounds, such as Protocatechualdehyde (HY-N0295). 3-Hydroxybenzaldehyde is the substrate of aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) in rats and humans. 3-Hydroxybenzaldehyde can protect blood vessels in vivo and in vitro.
