4A spherical molecular sieve
 
It mainly adsorbs water, methanol, ethanol, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, ethylene, propylene, and does not adsorb any molecule with a diameter greater than 4A (including propane), and its selective adsorption performance on water is higher than that of any other molecule. It is one of the most used molecular sieve species in the industry. It is widely used in the drying of gases and liquids, and can also be used in the refining and purification of certain gases or liquids, such as the production of argon gas.
