Isobutyl paraben is mainly used as preservatives and mildew preventives. Lt is rarely used alone and commonly mixed with isopropyl ester andbutyl ester as oil-in-water type emulgator.The solubility is 2-3 timeshigher than pure butyl ester. Soluble in soy sauce.
